String Of Armed Robberies in Onondaga County Keeping Sheriffs Deputies Busy

Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County deputies are still looking for the suspects who was involved in a string of gas station robberies.

Overnight the Byrne Dairy on Old Liverpool Road in Galeville was robbed. It was he fourth gas station robbery in less than 24-hours. It followed robberies a Speedway in Salina and a Mobile and Sunoco stations on West Taft Road about a mile apart.

Investigators say a man walked into a Speedway in Salina yesterday and showed a gun to an employee before getting away with cash. A short time later, it's believed the same man tried to rob a Sunoco on West Taft Road. Then after a few hours -- the Mobile less than 2 miles away was robbed before the Byrne Dairy on Old Liverpool Road was held up.

Investigators say the suspects in some of the robberies have a similar description.
