Syracuse Man Arrested After Allegedly Threatening His Stepdaughter

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police have arrested a man after he threatened his Stepdaughter.

On Wednesday, February 14th Police say they got a call that 50-year-old Willie Jones III allegedly threatened his stepdaughter at gunpoint in this home on Ostrander Ave.

They found Jones and apprehended him.

A search of his house turned up a bag of crack cocaine, numerous rounds of ammo, an AR-style rifle, a 9mm semi-automatic handgun and thousands of dollars in cash.

Jones faces the following charges.

  • Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Firearm
  • Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree
