The tomb of the hikers who perished in the infamous Dyatlov Pass incident suffered considerable damage at the hands of miscreants who mindlessly desecrated the memorial. According to a local media report, the appalling act of vandalism occurred earlier this week at the Mikhailovskoe Cemetery in the city of Yekaterinburg. At the site, the nine men and women who mysteriously died in Russia's Ural Mountains back in 1959 are remembered by way of an obelisk bearing their names and photos.
