Romulus, N.Y. - Parts of Seneca County are in a State of Emergency.

Sheriff Tim Luce has declared a State of Emergency for the Towns of Covert, Lodi, Ovid, and Romulus. This includes the Villages of Interlaken, Lodi, and Ovid. Heavy rain has caused major flooding in those affected areas.

Many roads are closed and the Sheriff is advising everyone to stay off the roads unless it is absolutely necessary.
