Torrential Rain Wallops Finger Lakes

Heavy Rains are walloping the areas to the west of Syracuse. 

The National Weather Service is issuing a Flash Flood Warning that will remain in effect for another couple hours.

The Flood warnign is in effect for Southwestern Seneca County, Northern Schuyler County, and  Southeastern Yates County until 10:15 a.m. A warning for Southern Tioga County in in effect until 10:45 a.m. 

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent is happening. People living along streams and creeks should take action to protect themselves and their property. NWS Officials say that if you can head to higher ground.
